Biography
Shana is a Removal Defense Attorney at Vasquez Law Firm, where she fights every day to protect the immigrant community. With over four years of experience, she represents individuals in complex immigration matters, including deportation defense, asylum, and cases before USCIS. Before joining Vasquez Law Firm, Shana served as a Supervising Attorney in immigrant defense. In that role, she led legal strategy, supervised legal teams, and represented clients in critical hearings, while also developing training programs and firm-wide legal resources to strengthen case outcomes. She has extensive experience litigating before the Immigration Court (EOIR) and representing clients before USCIS. Her practice includes asylum, adjustment of status, waivers, and Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases. She has successfully handled asylum claims based on particular social group, political opinion, and family-based grounds. Shana works closely with her clients, guiding them with clarity, dedication, and compassion throughout their legal journey. She earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2020, completing over 100 hours of pro bono service and earning a certification in mediation.
