Every article on this website exists to help Florida immigrants and their families understand their legal options accurately. This policy explains how our content is created, sourced, reviewed, and corrected.
Who writes and reviews our content
Our immigration content is produced by the legal team at Vasquez Law Firm, PLLC and reviewed for legal accuracy by a licensed attorney. Florida-jurisdiction immigration content is the responsibility of Harold Estrada-Rodriguez (Florida Bar No. 1041171). Articles are not legal advice; reading them does not create an attorney-client relationship.
What counts as a publishable source
- Primary government sources first — USCIS, EOIR, the Department of State, federal statutes and regulations, and published case law.
- Official agency processing data and the Visa Bulletin for any timeline or eligibility claim.
- Claims that turn on a specific statute, form, fee, or deadline cite that source directly.
- We do not publish unsourced predictions, guarantees of outcome, or success-rate statistics.
Use of AI assistance
We use AI tools to assist with drafting and research. AI-assisted drafts are not published as written: every article is checked against primary sources and reviewed by our legal team before publication. AI is a drafting aid, never the author of record, and never a substitute for attorney review.
Independence and disclosure
Our content is editorial, not sponsored. We do not accept payment to feature outcomes or to slant guidance. Where a topic is genuinely uncertain or fact-specific, we say so and direct readers to a free consultation rather than overstating what the law provides.
